Crude oil exports out of the Persian Gulf reached 81% of pre-war levels last month, according to fresh data from Kpler and Vortexa, cited by Reuters. The data excludes Iranian oil exports, which have dropped to zero, according to the analytics firms.
The recovery was led by Saudi Arabia, whose oil exports rose from 4.2 million barrels daily in August to some 6.6 million barrels daily in September. This Saudi recovery more than compensated for declines in exports from other Gulf oil and gas producers, according to the analysts.
